I don't have a whole lot to say about this novella.
I don't normally read a lot of romance, so it was a little out of my comfort zone. But it was sweet, simple, a little bit funny, had dialogue which was cute and a little witty, and gave an overall feeling of warmth.
There were clichés, oh boy were there, but I didn't find the story dragging at all, and I liked the feel of the piece.
After reading this story, I might be inclined to purchase some of the author's other works if the chance arises, where I probably wouldn't have even thought about it before.
I would recommend it to someone wanting a fairytale more grounded in the real world than in fantasy, and for a quick and happy read.
