I have listed this book on the probably-not shelf because the blurb makes me certain I would not like it. It is better now than it was before, but it could still do with some work. I still don't like the sound of the book, and will not be reading it. And, while the author has had someone look over and adjust the blurb, I HAVE seen the previous one, and know that a book takes a lot longer to edit than a blurb. So no doubt the book would still have the issues.
I am listing it as such so I don't KEEP reading the blurb over and over again whenever it pops up on my feed when I could be finding books that appeal to me instead.
My probably-not shelf is not an attack on authors, it is a record for MYSELF so that I don't have to deal with them in my feed all the time. MOST of the other books on my probably-not shelf are by trad-pubbed authors.
